Heating & Ventilation
We are not a heating and ventilation company, and have no desire to be become one. We are experts at integration however, and can offer considerable additional functionality when using one of our home automation controllers interfaced with a compatible HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) system.
Working closely with your HVAC company, M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) consultant or architect, we are able to configure home automation technology to function as a master 'umbrella' controller to monitor and adjust the environmental conditions of your home. This might include automatically opening and closing windows or operating electric blinds and curtains as well as adjusting the heating or air conditioning units.
The aim is to use as little energy as possible, whilst maintaining a constant temperature within your home that will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. By using the natural energy of the sun, we can use our technology to help store heat and direct it to where it is required and to naturally shade or cool other areas.
Another benefit of integrating your heating and ventilation systems within the larger home automation system is unification. Traditional room thermostats are some of the ugliest controls that get fitted to walls, but they can be completely eliminated by using tiny thimble sensors for monitoring and touch-panels for displaying and setting the desired temperature within a room. The touch-panels also provide a single point of control for lights, audio visual and security equipment.
